Jesse will perform and teach at the 2020 New Orleans Jazz and Pop Harp Weekend - a fabulous mini music camp for adult harpists who want to expand their understanding of jazz and popular music on the harp, with three days of performances, classes, jam sessions, and opportunities to enjoy and explore the vibrant musical culture of New Orleans. Faculty teachers include director Patrice Fisher, special guest artist Erin Hill, and Louisiana-based harpists Rebecca Babin, Cassie Watson and Gina Paredes. Jesse will be teaching two classes in Polyrhythmic Accompaniment in arranging, improvising and composing, for beginning and advanced harpists. The camp begins with a concert and jam session Thursday night, with classes and concerts all day Friday and Saturday, and wrapping up with a jazz brunch Sunday morning.
