A 2-day intensive of workshops for intermediate adult harpists in a group setting. Classes include: IMPROVISATION BASICS, MUSICIANSHIP for HARPISTS, and ENSEMBLE. Lever-harp focused, but pedal harpists welcome. There will be also be some social time in between classes to get to know each other and play tunes for fun!

The second day of this camp will be learning and playing multiple parts in a new ongoing project - Santa Cruz Harp Orchestra - an ensemble that continues my 20 years of work leading SC Harp Festival. Harp Orchestra includes many of my private students but is open to most intermediate players ages 16+. This ensemble will include performance opportunities throughout the year, with performances focused on reaching lower-income communities and youth in Santa Cruz and sharing our love of the harp and a wide variety of music from around the world.
